1)  Can't say we didn't see this one coming but One Device Research has done a study and found that the majority of people using the mobile phone to access the internet in Africa and Asia don't access it any other way- i.e. the mobile is the one and only device they have/use to get on the web.  I've said it before and I'll say it again- the dominant means of web access worldwide will be via the mobile phone by 2015 at the latest and 2015 is now in the developing world!

2)  Does getting into the whole mobile thing seem too daunting.  The Five Myths of Building a Great Mobile Team may alleviate some of your fears and give you some valuable pointers to get moving on too.

I'm fighting a losing war with people in the West about whether or not we should consider the iPad when we think of mobile ministry.  When we talk about the "Why" of mobile ministry the conversation revolves around how it is the most pervasive media on the face of the planet and its ubiquitous presence at the point of contact where believers and the unreached connect.  When we talk about the "What" of mobile ministry (defining what should be considered as mobile ministry), though, we're suddenly ready to set aside the "Why" to open the door for iPads which don't fit in at all with the "Why".
